Object Show interest

History

The history of object shows for me goes all the way back to 2015 when I watched YouTube occasionally. I remember that BFDI 1a: Take The Plunge kept appearing on my recommended section for a few months straight, before I finally decided to watch it in ~2016. I quickly fell in love with the series and watched the entirety of the first and second season. A few years of doing that later, on February 12th 2018, I discovered that the creators of the show had made a new one called BFB. Previously, I thought that it was just another random object show that wasn't made by them until I finally saw it was made by jacknjellify (the guys behind the first two seasons).

After the discovery of BFB, I started watching other object shows and eventually I became part of the object show community (though it was yet to be called the OSC at the time as far as I can remember.) I never created my own object show though I did occasionally create content related to the BFDI seasons on my first channel. Since ~2020, I've had little involvement in the community though I still often watch object shows (particularly BFDI) whenever a new episode comes out.
